Stop bad dreams!

Bad dreams (nightmares to most of us!) can be a result of many things. It can be as a result of certain events during the day/week or your lifetime.

If this is the case, then you need to seek professional help, especially if they are recurring. You can try going to a psychologist or hypnotist. You can also try Bach flower remedies for certain nightmares.

Keep a diary. This is very important. You will be able to see a correlation between nightmares and certain things. For example, it can be that you get nightmares when you eat late, or when you eat meat during the day or when you eat a certain food. e.g. meat, eggs.

Apart from food and certain events, stress can also be a trigger for nightmares. Bear in mind that sometimes, having a bad dream is not a bad thing. It could be your body's way of dealing with a certain event and balancing things out.

Finally, some people get nightmares when they sleep in a certain way. For example, if they sleep on their stomach with their heads to the right, they get nightmares! If they sleep with their head to the left, no nightmares! Strange but very true for some people. Try changing your sleep position.
